& Chris Walker
April 13, 2021 / 5:00pm - 5:50pm EDT

How do you create a metadata-rich production and post workflow when dealing with thousands of clips per 8K Stereo 60p shoot?

This session will help to think about how planning bespoke metadata creation during the shoot can make for an efficient post workflow, based on a real example of filming musician Nile Rodgers for an interactive VR and cross-platform experience.

In this session we’ll share:

  • The challenge set at the beginning of the project
  • The need for metadata from pre-production through production, to post and implementation

Speaker: PhotoJoseph
April 13, 2021 / 6:00pm - 6:50pm EDT

It’s even a decent editor — but it’s no Final Cut Pro! In this session, I’ll show you how I tie the two together seamlessly in my own videos.

In this session, you will learn...

  • How to configure ScreenFlow for optimum quality
  • How I keep track of multiple shots using slates and timecode (sort of)
  • How I set an initial render for FCP, then edit in FCP
  • How I round-trip between FCP and ScreenFlow to add animated zooms and other effects

If you’re a fan of ScreenFlow, you’ll not want to miss this demo. You might even pick up some new ScreenFlow tips along the way!
